EcoFest at the Arb is a day-long immersion in treading lightly on the earth and of the joyfulness that arises in our bodies and souls from sustaining her. This event continues to be an annual celebration promoting alternative energy, inspiring stewardship, and educating each other about ways to better preserve our planet. We will gather together to set intentions for the future and to honor the work each of us is doing now. Educational opportunities throughout the day will teach us new ways to live larger than life on a small footprint.

Luke Snow (FarmShop) will be moderating a panel discussion at 3:30 titled:

(Re)Shaping the Wichita Area Local Food System -

Small scale farms working towards a better future.

Most of the farms represented on the panel will also items available for sale in their booths at the event.

Panelists include:

David Anderson – One Feather Farm

Linda Long - Graze The Prairie-Certified Grass Fed Beef and Lamb

Megan Greenway - Orie's Farm Fresh

Leah Garcia - Firefly Farm Produce

Josh Molello - Strong Roots Healthy Farming LLC

The day’s festivities will include live music, arts and crafts, healthy food from local vendors, environmental speakers, kids’ activities in Teeny Tiny Town, educational opportunities for all ages, live critters for petting, yoga on the lawn, Tour de Trees gravel bike ride, a story walk with Birdie Bartlett, and, of course, bike-powered art mobiles, bubbles, and lights.
